Designing for Jacquard woven commercially produced textiles is a unique opportunity to employ curvilinear forms and apply color in ways that flat loom production simply doesn’t allow. Like all weaving processes, whether manual or mass production, this process allows for the potential to ‘paint with yarn’ to achieve the desired design expression.
